Spurs playmaker's display against Southampton piqued the interest of the press in his home-land.
The 22-year-old averages a passing output of 50 passes per match with an 83% accuracy. He has also been responible for creating 13 key (goal-scoring potential) passes, has completed nine dribbles and scored twice from 16 shots in just seven Premier League outings.
Eriksen was also on target against Southampton at White Hart Lane yesterday, Sunday, as the playmaker rounded off a great team move with a cool finish.
Considering Denmark take on Albania on Saturday and then Portugal on the following Tuesday in two qualifying matches for the European Championships in 2016,it is understandable that the Danish press will expect Eriksen to maintain his exceptional passing performances.
"Eriksen got on the scoreboard five minutes before the break when he received the ball from Nacer Chadli and with great precision plastered a goal into the back of the net with a hard, flat shot," wrote Ekstra Bladet in their official post-match report. "Eriksen was the match-winner," they added.
Their report continued: "Eriksen has generally shown good momentum when Southampton visit White Hart Lane. Last season, he scored twice as Tottenham went 0-2 to win 3-2 at home. The midfielder also contributed an assist."
Tottenham have overtaken local rivals Arsenal and are currently in sixth place in the English division.
