Joleon Lescott was disappointed to come unstuck at Anfield.
Joleon Lescott hasn't been too accustomed to losing in recent Premier League seasons.
After five years at Manchester City that reeled in two Premier League titles, the powerful ex Everton centre back has also made a promising if belated start to his career at the Hawthorns.
But that didn't stop him voicing his frustration on Twitter after his side narrowly lost to Liverpool on Saturday afternoon.
Gutted about today results, would have been great to keep this unbeaten run going into the international break. the travelling fans— Joleon Lescott (@JoleonLescott) October 4, 2014
The England defender had been superb in his debut against Tottenham two weeks ago, helping the Baggies secure a high profile away win at the North London side.
He followed that up with an equally impressive performance as West Brom smashed Burnley 4-0 at the Harwthorns last week, making it two wins from his two appearances.
But that mini winning run ended at Anfield, despite West Brom side putting in a decent performance against Liverpool, with Jordan Henderson's goal giving the hosts a 2-1 win.
Clearly, Lescott has a lot to offer Alan Irvine's side after five trophy laden years at the Etihad, and the 32-year-old, who has featured for three Midlands outfits over his career, is set to be a key man this season.
