Adel Taarabt played his first meaningful minutes of the Premier League season, coming on for the final 25 against West Ham.
The Moroccan's only previous appearance in the division this season came in the 1-0 win over Sunderland in August, when he came on in injury time.
Taarabt spent the earlier part of this year on loan at AC Milan, and it's no secret that he still harbours a desire to return to the Italian club.
For now all he can do is help dig QPR out of the hole they are in at the bottom of the table, and importantly - get fit.
When he came on against West Ham he did not look in great shape, even if he showed a few bright touches.
Taarabt did not put in a lot of defensive work, but he did create one chance, and fire in two shots at goal, both of which were off target.
Here's a look at how fans reacted to seeing him back in action...
#QPR fitness regime worrying. Taarabt looks the size of a house. Niko only lost weight after he left.— QPR FUN (@QPRFUN) October 5, 2014
Say what you want about Taarabt and his attitude and commitment, but when he gets on the pitch he gives it his all and was best there #QPR— Joshua Hodges (@Joshuaqpr) October 5, 2014
