Sunday was the perfect day for Tottenham Hotspur.
Mauricio Pochettino's side got back to winning ways with a 1-0 victory over Southampton - and the win was all the more sweeter as it came against the Argentine's former club.
And captain Younes Kaboul was understandably pleased with the result, telling the club's website that they 'controlled the game' and 'defended very well.'
Several other Spurs players also reacted after the game, with Jan Vertonghen speaking to the club's website, as well, while Ryan Mason and Christian Eriksen took to Twitter on their personal accounts.
Indeed, young midfielder Mason said he was 'buzzing' to get the three points going into the international break, while Eriksen went for the slightly more understated description of 'nice'

Meanwhile, Belgium defender Vertonghen was pleased - just like Kaboul - with the north London side's defending against Ronald Koeman's men.
The clean sheet didn't come easily for Tottenham but the 27-year-old thought his team defended 'very well' and proved their defensive credentials, just as they had done in the north London derby against Arsenal.
