CONFIRMED: Tottenham v Southampton line-ups - Mason starts again!

Here is how Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton will line up for this afternoon’s match at White Hart Lane...

Mauricio Pochettino faces his former side today as Southampton travel to face his Tottenham team this afternoon.

Pochettino joined the Saints from Espanyol back in 2013, and led the club to an eighth place finish last season before Spurs wanted him to become the man to replace Tim Sherwood at White Hart Lane.

So far, he's seen his new team take two wins, two draws and two defeats from the opening six games as they struggle for consistency, but they've flashed the ability to break into the top four this season.

Meanwhile, Southampton have shown that they can succeed without Pochettino, as his replacement Ronald Koeman has made a stunning start to life at St. Mary's Stadium.

The Dutchman has claimed four wins from his first six games in charge, and with big contributions from new signings such as Fraser Forster, Ryan Bertrand, Dusan Tadic and Graziano Pelle, the Saints will be confident of beating Spurs this afternoon as Pochettino renews pleasantries with this former employers.

Here are the line-ups for both sides today.

Tottenham Hotspur starting XI: Lloris; Naughton, Kaboul, Vertonghen, Rose; Capoue, Mason; Eriksen, Chadli, Lamela; Adebayor

Subs: Vorm, Dier, Fazio, Dembele, Townsend, Kane, Soldado
