Nottingham Forest will look to finally score a goal as Ipswich Town travel to the City Ground this afternoon.
Stuart Pearce's side made a stunning start to the season, racking up 17 points from the first ten games of the season, but have seen their promotion push stall in recent weeks with three successive 0-0 draws. One way to look at that is to praise the strength of the defence, but there will be worries over the attack.
As a result, Pearce has handed a start to summer signing Matty Fryatt, with the experienced goalscorer partnering £5.5m capture Britt Assombalonga in attack, who has eight goals this season. If the two are in top form, then that goal drought could end this afternoon.
Meanwhile, Ipswich lie just two points behind Forest having claimed five wins from the first ten games. The Tractor Boys are still searching for a level of consistency, and manager Mick McCarthy has surprisingly chosen three players who usually play as centre forwards - Daryl Murphy, David McGoldrick and Connor Sammon - and it will therefore be interesting to see how the trio line up in attack.
