Chelsea star on the chance of another 6-0 win against Arsenal

Chelsea face Arsenal on Sunday afternoon, with memories of their last encounter still fresh in the mind.

Chelsea play-maker Eden Hazard has been speaking ahead of the Blues’ match against Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.

The last time the two sides met Chelsea won an unforgettable game 6-0, with Hazard netting the third goal from the penalty-spot. And while the Belgian international has admitted that winning the match is the most important thing, it seems he has not completely ruled out a repeat performance.

In an interview with Chelsea’s official website, Hazard said, “Every game is different. Arsenal have played well this season and so have we. It was a good experience; 6-0 against Arsenal at home is very good but the most important thing is to win.

“If we can do the same it will be good for us but we know it’s always difficult to play against Arsenal.”

Given the way the Gunners have started this season, the chance of Chelsea “doing the same” is unlikely, especially when you consider the bizarre circumstances surrounding last season’s emphatic win.

But both sides will know just how vital this game could ultimately be, and for that reason it is likely to be a far tighter affair, although the attacking talent on show may have other ideas.
