Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez has outlined the objectives of the team for this season.
The Chile international joined the Gunners from Barcelona in the summer transfer window.
The 25-year-old arrived in English football with a big reputation, but so far he has yet to fully explode in the Premier League.
However, that does not prevent Sanchez from retaining lofty ambitions of winning major titles with Arsenal this season.
‘I want to win everything’, he told Sky Sports. ‘Looking at the coaches and players we have, with a winning attitude and ambition, we can win absolutely anything’.
Sanchez seems determined to win ‘absolutely anything’ with Arsenal, but how realistic is that?
Arsenal will be aiming for the Premier League and perhaps the FA Cup this season, but the Champions League is surely out of their reach.
Arsene Wenger’s side reached the final of Europe’s premier club competition in 2006, but they are now pretty much an also-ran.
However, in football, as in life, you just never know.
