Wolves fans react on Twitter to 2-2 Wigan draw - "Dominant again"

Molineux - Wolves - Billy Wright Stand

Wolverhampton Wanderers recovered from the 3-1 midweek defeat to Huddersfield with a 2-2 draw against Wigan Athletic.

Wolverhampton Wanderers had made a great start to life back in the Championship, taking the form that saw them coast to the League One title into the new season with five wins from their opening eight games of the campaign, losing just once in that time.

Yet spirits have been dampened around Molineux over the past week, having conceded an injury time equaliser against Reading last Sunday and being thumped at home by Huddersfield Town in midweek. A response was need as Uwe Rosler's Wigan side travelled to the West Midlands for today's clash.

Wolves struck first as midfielder Dave Edwards gave Kenny Jackett's side the lead after half an hour, but James Perch brought the Latics level just two minutes later. Wigan then went ahead on the stroke of half time as former West Brom striker Marc-Antoine Fortune returned to the Black County with a goal to take the lead.

But Wolves recovered in the second half with Bakary Sako turning home from Scott Golbourne's corner to rescue a point, leading Wolves in seventh place in the Championship table with 19 points from 11 games.
