Arsenal take on Chelsea tomorrow at Stamford Bridge in what for them will hopefully be a revenge mission after their 6-0 thrashing last season.
But Chelsea are in ominous form. They sit at the top of the Premier League after an excellent start to the season, caused mainly by the impressive signings he made this summer.
There is no doubt that Diego Costa is hogging the headlines, the £32 million man banging in the goals.
But it is perhaps the performances of Cesc Fabregas that has caught the eye. The Spanish midfielder has shone in the league, bagging seven assists in all competitions this term.
Of course Arsenal could have signed him this summer, they had first-option on the player when Barcelona decided they wanted to get rid of him this summer.
But Arsene Wenger decided his squad was already jam-packed full of creative midfield types, so decided to opt out of bringing his former captain back to the club.
Something one former Premier League maestro believes was probably a mistake. Southampton legend Matthew Le Tissier was speaking on Sky Sports Soccer Saturday on the matter this afternoon - and he does not believe Fabregas has any rivals in the Arsenal midfield:
"They do have a lot of midfielders at Arsenal. The question you have to ask is, how many of them are better than Cesc Fabregas? And there are not too many. Well, probably not any. There may be a couple that are very close. But I would not go as far to say they are better than Cesc Fabregas.
"I think they will possibly regret that decision. I think Chelsea are looking so strong at the moment. And he has been a massive part of that. How many assists has he got in seven games? That is something Arsenal will miss."
Tomorrow will certainly help us see just what Arsenal are missing if Fabregas turns up against his former club.
