Sheffield Wednesday boss speaking ahead of Leeds United match this Saturday.
Sheffield Wednesday manager Stuart Gray has revealed a pre-game scouting trip at Elland Road did not go inconspicuously.
Speaking at his press conference this week, Gray explained how he went to watch Leeds play at home to Reading this week.
He said: "I went to Leeds last night to watch them play against Reading, and a couple of supporters had a little pop
"I got a bit of grief."
Gray did not go into further detail, perhaps not wanting to dwell, nor aggravate relations between the two sets of rival supporters.
Instead he moved on to discuss his thoughts ahead of the match, and why Wednesday's 6-0 win over Leeds last season is largely irrelevant.
"I looked at that Leeds side team I think there's only Jason Pearce, we've got one here Tom Lees, that was involved in the game.
"Their team has changed dramatically, I don't think their manager can turn around and say remember last season?
"We need to go there and get a win, get a winning run going again."
