Liverpool-owned Divock Origi is delighted with his first ever Europa League goal and is congratulated by former Chelsea attacker Kevin De Bruyne.

Liverpool may have failed to score in the Champions League in midweek, but one of the strikers on their books had no trouble in finding the net.

Divock Origi joined the Premier League club from Lille in the summer transfer but was loaned back to the French outfit for the 2014-15 season.

The 19-year-old did not enjoy the best of starts to the season, but he is now starting to come alive and was on target on Thursday.

The Belgium international scored in Lille’s 1-1 draw with Vfl Wolfsburg at the Volkswagen Arena in the Europa League Group H.

It was Origi’s second appearance in the European competition, and he scored from the penalty spot after Wolfsburg left-back Ricardo Rodriguez had committed a handball offence inside the box.

The teenager was understandably delighted with his goal and took to social networking site Twitter to revel in his success.

Origi’s goal did not prove to be enough for Lille to pick up the win, though, as a former Chelsea player scored the equaliser for Wolfsburg.

Kevin De Bruyne struck late on for the Bundesliga outfit and later congratulated Belgium international teammate Origi on his achievement.
