Jose Mourinho says that he couldn't be happier with the form of Cesc Fabregas, who has been phenomenal for the club in every game he has played so far.
The attention is on Fabregas this weekend as he returns to his former club Arsenal, and Mourinho was keen to stress how important that he has become at Stamford Bridge.
After signing from Barcelona for around £27 million in the summer transfer window, he has immediately become a mainstay in the Blues' side.
The Spaniard has been a major reason for them playing a more entertaining brand of football so far this season, with his creativity shining through.
Fabregas already has six assists in the Premier League and Mourinho has hailed the form of the 27-year-old.
"Cesc is a Chelsea player and he's been phenomenal for us in every game, no exception," Mourinho said in a press conference today. "I couldn't be happier."
Chelsea have been the most impressive team in England so far this campaign, with Fabregas playing a shining role in the side.
Alongside Diego Costa, who was brought for £32 million, he looks one of the best purchases made by any club over the previous transfer window and the hope he can continue to play a key role as Chelsea look to claim their first title since 2010.
Costa has scored eight times in his first six games in England, but he wouldn't have been able to achieve the feat with Fabregas's ability to forge chances for him.
The duo of Spanish internationals will be hoping to link up again to good effect on Sunday as Chelsea look to beat one of their London rivals.
If they can do so it will further confirm their status as favourites to win the league and leave them in a commanding position at the top of the table, at this early stage.
