It took a long time to get hold of him but Manchester United eventually did snap up Argentine international defender Marcos Rojo this summer.
The club got past third-party ownership and work permit issues to sign the player from Sporting Lisbon in a £16 million deal this summer.
Rojo is now integrated into the United set-up and is expected to feature once again this weekend as United take on Everton at Old Trafford.
And he has been speaking to the media in his homeland about his time at the club so far.
"I can not hide it, I'm very happy and I love the city, despite having a reputation for being grey. Our team-mates say that Angel [Di Maria] brought the sun. With Fideo [Di Maria's nickname] we are just learning English jokes from [Wayne] Rooney not much else found. I started getting asked for photos even before I made my debut in the team."
Rojo is clearly enjoying himself at the club. It helps for sure that he has the likes of Ander Herrera, Juan Mata, David De Gea, Radamel Falcao, Antonio Valencia and his friend Di Maria to talk in Spanish with - while he has also mentioned how his boss Louis van Gaal speaks a bit of Spanish from his time with Barcelona:
"Out of training he [van Gaal] is a fun guy. He speaks a little Spanish. But when he gets serious it is all work. He likes to show videos. Always tries to help, give us a solution and explain the plays. The club is amazing, I have never seen anything like it. Nothing is missing."
After the tough time Rojo went through to get his dream move it is surely only fair that he enjoys his time with the club. United fans were certainly more impressed with him at centre-back last week against West Ham United.
He will certainly become a fixture in the team for the next few years, and with his excellent interviews hopefully a permanent fixture, a fan favourite as well.
