Aston Villa star midfielder Fabian Delph has been called up once again to the England squad by international manager Roy Hodgson.
The 24-year-old, who made his debut in a friendly against Norway before maintain his place for the European Championship Qualifier against Switzerland - a match he excelled in.
In six Premier League outings this season, Delph has been responsible for eight tackles, an 83% passing accuracy and has completed 15 dribbles.
Delph's all-round midfield form for Villa has prompted Hodgson to call Delph back up to the national camp for the fixtures against San Marino and Estonia and is joined by experienced heads such as Gary Cahill and Wayne Rooney, on form players like Danny Welbeck and inexperienced stars like Jonjo Shelvey and Nathaniel Clyne.
While most Aston Villa fans were swift to congratulate Delph for his international recognition, there is one school of thought that believes it could be bad news for the club in the long-term…
Recently, the Daily Mirror linked Delph with a move to Everton and even Arsenal as the box-to-box midfielder is yet to sign a new contract with the Villa Park outfit.
