The only game that took place last weekend was Chelsea’s trip to Leicester City which ended in a 1-1 draw. The Blues may well have had one eye on the UEFA Youth League as they dropped rare points away from home.

Aston Villa were the most impressive winners last Monday with a 3-0 win over Bolton Wanderers and there were also victories for Reading, West Ham, Middlesbrough and Southampton.

Wolves and Brighton shared the points in a 1-1 draw.
