The UEFA Youth League returned this week to coincide with the Champions League and there were some entertaining games involving Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal.

Manchester City 2-1 Roma
Manchester City were forced to come from behind in their game against the Serie A giants, with all three efforts coming in the second half.
Francesco Di Mariano put Roma ahead before goals from Oliver Ntcham and Thierry Ambrose gave City all three points
City sit top of Group E with two wins from two and only two goals conceded so far in the competition.
Sporting Lisbon 0-5 Chelsea
Chelsea’s youngsters travelled to Portugal for a potentially difficult game but the eased through it with an outstanding performance.
Tammy Abraham bagged a brace, Dom Salanke and Lamisha Musonda both bagged goals and Charlie Colkett converted from the penalty spot to give the team all three points.
Chelsea top their group with an amazing record of nine goals scored and just one conceded from two games.
FC Basel 3-2 Liverpool
Liverpool’s under-19 side went the same way as the first team in Switzerland although they put up more of a fight.
Jerome Sinclair bagged both goals of the game for the away side who will be frustrated not to have followed up an opening win against Ludogorets.
Liverpool are now joint second in their group although below FC Basel because of the head-to-head record between the teams.
Arsenal 5-1 Galatasaray
Arsenal’s youngsters matched the result of the first team with a big win against Galatasaray.
The match saw five different players net goals for the Gunners; Gedion Zelalem, Kaylen Hinds, Chris Willock, Alex Iwobi and Daniel Crowley.
Arsenal are three points ahead of Galatasaray who defeated Anderlecht in their first game.
