Predicted Hull City and Crystal Palace line-ups: Hernandez and Bolasie to start

Hull City KC North Stand

Match to be played on Saturday 4th October 2014 at 15:00. Venue: The KC Stadium, Hull.

Hull City host Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday with just two points separating the two sides. Such is the tight nature of the table at this stage in the campaign that a win could see Hull jump from 16th to ninth or the Eagles climb into the top four.

That said, both sides will simply be eager to get another three points on the board; and with Hull’s defence taking a bit of a battering in recent weeks, Palace may be quietly confident of getting a win to extend their unbeaten run to five games.

But Hull have had no problem at the other end of the pitch and if their back-line can get back to its resolute best Steve Bruce could be celebrating a welcome victory.

Hull City injury concerns: David Meyler is a doubt with a back injury but he has a 75 per cent chance of returning for the weekend.

Hull City absences: Robert Snodgrass is a long-term injury absentee while Yannick Sagbo has recently been sent on loan to Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Crystal Palace injury concerns: Neil Warnock’s side has a clean bill of health and he has a full squad of players to choose from ahead of this match.

Crystal Palace absences: Palace’s only absentees are those players currently out on loan.

Predicted starting line-ups:

Hull City – McGregor, Rosenior, Dawson, Davies, Robertson, Livermore, Huddlestone, Diame, Elmohamady, Hernandez, Jelavic

Crystal Palace – Speroni, Kelly, Ward, Dann, Delaney, McArthur, Ledley, Jedinak, Puncheon, Bolasie, Campbell
