Predicted Aston Villa and Manchester City line-ups - Milner and Mangala back for City

Villa Holte End

Match to be played on Saturday 4th October 2014 at 17:30. Venue: Villa Park, Birmingham.

Aston Villa have had a decent start to the season despite being well beaten at Chelsea last weekend.

Paul Lambert would have snapped the hand off of anyone who would have offered him this start to the campaign and the side will be confident of a result at home against Manchester City this weekend.

Villa have ten points from six games and the same defensive record this season as Chelsea, Arsenal and their opponents this weekend; Manchester City. Their problem has been scoring goals.

Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini was left frustrated after a draw against Roma in the Champions League but he needs to focus on the domestic side of things as City look to win their third league title in four seasons.

They’re only five points off of Chelsea and a win will put the pressure on the Blues who face Arsenal on Sunday.

City have the potential to play any side off the park and it’s important they produce a professional performance as they can’t afford to concede much more ground in the Premier League title race.

Here are the possible teams each side might go with this weekend.

Aston Villa: Guzan, Cissokho, Baker, Hutton, Senderos, Delph, Cleverley, Westwood, Agbonlahor, Weimann, N’Zogbia

Manchester City: Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Mangala, Clichy, Milner, Toure, Fernandinho, Silva, Aguero, Dzeko
