Top Arsenal stars took to Twitter to mark their win, dedicating it to Arsene Wenger.
Mesut Ozil and Per Mertesacker posted messages paying tribute to his 18th anniversary in charge of the club.
Hector Bellerin and Aaron Ramsey also commented, praising hat-trick hero Danny Welbeck.
Welbeck (3) and Alexis Sanchez scored in Arsenal's 4-1 crushing of Galatasaray, with goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny sent off conceding a penalty for the Turkish side's consolation.
Wenger said after the match: "I felt we had a good start. They were surprised by our pace in the game. We lost control of the game at 4-1 when we were down to 10 men.
"We needed a few good saves from David Ospina and then you could see that Galatasaray had quality.
"As soon as we allowed them to play they became a very dangerous team. Maybe at the start of the game, and the first hour, the pace was a problem for them."
Here's how the players reacted afterwards:
