Arsenal treqaurtista has warned weekend opponents Chelsea that the "Gunners are on fire"…
Mesut Ozil appears to be reveling in his partnership with Alexis Sanchez.
The Arsenal playmaker, bought from Real Madrid in a £42.4 million last summer, was joined this year by the Chilean who arrived at the Emirates Stadium from Barcelona for £30 million.
Criticisms for inconsistency have hounded Ozil throughout the first season of his Arsenal tenure but against Galatasaray he appeared to be back to his most creative best.
Part of that may come down to position as the German was utilised in a central role while Sanchez was shifted out on the left, and the tactical switch paid dividends as Gunners boss Arsene Wenger engineered a 4-1 rout over Galatasaray.
Speaking on Twitter, Ozil - who attached a photograph of himself with Sanchez - said it was "a lot of fun" and with statistics like these, it is clear why Mesut is so overjoyed…
In 77 minutes of Champions League action against Gala on Wednesday evening, Ozil received 83 touches on the football, showed a precision in the pass and was responsible for creating a goal-scoring opportunity (key pass) once every 15 minutes.

It is now a case of looking forward to the weekend, as Ozil said: "Now we're all set for the match against Chelsea - Gunners on fire."
