Juventus unveiled their new green away kit for last night's Champions League defeat against Atletico Madrid to much amusement.
Juventus wore their new green away kit for their Champions League clash against Atletico Madrid last night and it didn't get the best of responses.
Others took it more seriously. One Twitter user remarked: "A trial for crimes against humanity for whoever came up with Juventus's fluorescent green kit."
Another angry fan labelled the shirt: "An insult to Juventus's history and tradition" and stated: "It's really true: Marketing ruins football."
La maglia verde della Juventus è un insulto alla storia e alla tradizione bianconera. È proprio vero.. Marketing: rovina del calcio!— Calcio Nostalgico (@c_nostalgico) October 1, 2014
To make matters worse, the shirt had a losing debut as Juventus were beaten 1-0 by Atletico Madrid after giving a defensive performance.
Still, things could be worse, at least they don't have Napoli's dreadful denim jeans inspired away kit.
