Everton are on their way to Russia to face FK Krasnodar but they are without a number of first-team players.
Everton loanee Christian Atsu has posted a picture on his official Instagram account of him and teammates Samuel Eto'o, Romelu Lukaku and Muhamed Besic onboard a plane on its way to Russia.
Roberto Martinez's side take on FK Krasnodar in the Europa League on Thursday and they will be hoping to build on their draw against Liverpool at the weekend.
Everton have not started the new campaign as they would have liked, and they currently find themselves 15th in the Premier League table with just six points out of a possible 18. That said, the division is currently so tight that four more points would see them in the Champions League places so there is still plenty of hope to be had for the upcoming matches.
While many of Everton's players will be hoping to take part in European action, the club's official Twitter account has confirmed that four players did not travel. They are Sylvain Distin, Seamus Coleman, Steven Pienaar and James McCarthy.
