AS Roma attacker Francesco Totti rolled back the years when he scored a truly sensational goal against Manchester City in the Champions League Group E on Tuesday.
The former Italy international scored with an intelligent and delicate dink after latching onto Radja Nainggolan's pass, although City goalkeeper Joe Hart’s slip did aid him.
That goal from Totti made it 1-1 at the Etihad Stadium, and the score stayed that way until the final whistle.
Totti become the oldest player to score in the Champions League at 38 years and three days, and gave an overall very good performance in the contest.
Former Liverpool attacker Daniel Pacheco, now at Real Betis, was in awe of Totti’s goal and took to social networking site Twitter to express his admiration.
Totti. Bravo. Eterno. Legend.— Daniel Pacheco (@dani37pacheco) September 30, 2014
Roma are currently second in Group E with four points from two games, while German champions Bayern Munich lead the group with six points.
Russian outfit CSKA Moscow have lost both their matches so far and are bottom, while defending Premier League champions are third with a single point.
