Chelsea morning news: Mourinho wants this in Champions League, Terry on appearance feat

A round up of news stories this morning about Chelsea.

Jose Mourinho wants two more wins from the Blues in the Champions League after a 1-0 victory at Sporting Lisbon.

The Portuguese boss has suggested that ten points will be enough to see his side into the knock out round.

“We play two games against Maribor. If we manage six points, that would be 10 and job done. Now we have just to focus on beating Maribor, which I believe is not easy,” said Mourinho.

Chelsea skipper John Terry says he’s proud to have played 100 games in the Champions League for the club.

The veteran defender completed the unique record in the Blues’ match against Sporting last night.

“I'm very proud - not many players have achieved that. I've had a great and successful career and long may it continue,” said Terry.

Mourinho has paid tribute to Terry describing him as a player who will go down in the history books.

“He may not have been captain in all those games, but surely in most of them. He’s an historic player and will go down in the history of the club,” said the boss.
