Celtic striker John Guidetti has revealed his frustration at having to watch his side's upcoming Europa League clash from the stands.

Guidetti, on loan at the SPL champions from Manchester City, is ineligible for the Bhoys' Group D clash with Dinamo Zagreb as his registration was completed after UEFA's transfer deadline.

And the 22-year-old admits it will be a nerve-wracking experience for him watching the game like everybody else.

He has, however, backed Celtic to get their first win of this season's competition under their belts.

"The boys are going to do fantastic. I'm going to watch from the stands, which is even worse because you get more nervous," Guidetti told the Celtic View.

"Of course it's frustrating. This was the game I would love to play in but this is life and I have 100 per cent belief in the boys that they're going to do well.

"Hopefully with the fantastic support that I've heard about on European nights we can win. Hopefully I can learn a few songs and sing along as well."

Guidetti scored twice for Ronny Deila's side in their weekend SPL clash at St Mirren - and has three goals to his name in his first four Celtic games.
