Paul Robinson hopes the Blues can maintain their momentum by defeating Charlton Athletic at the weekend.
Birmingham City left back Paul Robinson took to Twitter following the comfortable 3-1 win over Millwall in South London as the Midlands club banked a much-needed hat-trick of points to rise up the Championship ladder into 19th place, five points above the relegation zone.
It was the first away victory the Blues had returned this season as Clayton Donaldson and David Cotterill scored before half-time, ahead of Lee Gregory's goal for Millwall and City's third from Wes Thomas.
Robinson, 35, who has registered 44 clearances, 13 tackles and 11 interceptions from six Championship starts (and three as a substitute) this season, posted one excitable word on social media: "Boom!"
Followed by his desire to see the club replicate the win over their weekend opponents, Charlton Athletic, whom they take on - again in South London - on Saturday, ahead of a home clash with Bolton Wanderers after the international break.
Robinson said: "[That was a] big three points by the lads, now [we have to get the] same again on Saturday.
"Amazing support on a Tuesday night by our fans," the veteran concluded.
