Alien Isolation video teaches you not to trust dead-looking folk

Alien Isolation Screen 5

Sega and The Creative Assembly's Alien survival horror title gets another video showing why flares and 'dead' androids are annoying.

Continuing their series of vignettes showing what you really should avoid when playing Alien: Isolation, The Creative Assembly have released another trailer and this time it's all about flares.

In the trailer below we see our familiar Alien enemy lurking about, trying to find Amanda Ripley. In somewhat logical fashion she throws a flare in the hope of distracting the hulking great beast, and it would have worked too, if it weren't for that pesky android.

What's the lesson here? Well firstly it would be to not go trekking about in space looking for the worst possible places to end up, but as that's unavoidable here, we'd say you should really watch out for things laying on the floor, especially when they're pretending to be dead.

Alien: Isolation launches next week on 7th October for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
