Nottingham Forest failed to score for a third successive Championship game, but there were positives to take from the 0-0 draw at Wigan.
As well as defender Kelvin Wilson making his 150th appearance for the club, midfielder Robert Tesche was outstanding.
Tesche was a free agent signing this summer, after being released by Hamburg, and he was making his fourth Championship start of the season.
In a defensive midfield role, Tesche impressed, and had by far his best game in a Forest shirt to date.
|Match||Competition||Tackles||Interceptions||Chances Created||Mins Played|
|Robert Tesche||Wigan vs Forest||Championship||6||3||1||90|
|Robert Tesche||Forest vs Fulham||Championship||3||1||0||89|
|Robert Tesche||Forest vs Brighton||Championship||2||1||0||61|
|Robert Tesche||Forest vs Derby||Championship||1||1||0||75|
|Robert Tesche||Millwall vs Forest||Championship||1||3||0||75|
Tesche was substituted after only an hour at the weekend in the home draw with Brighton, but bounced back well against a dangerous Wigan side.
His Forest career is only just getting started, but he is already looking like a shrewd addition for Stuart Pearce's side.
