We hear more details about Frontier Developments' new rollercoaster game in this Xbox interview with Larry Hryb.
Screamride is a new Xbox-exclusive title from Frontier Developments (RollerCoaster Tycoon 3, Zoo Tycoon) that mixes rollercoaster simulation and customisation, with mass destruction.
In the video below we hear from executive producer Jorg Neumann as he speaks to Xbox's Larry Hryb about how the game functions and what players will be able to do.
First off you'll create your rollercoaster ride, playing around with the in-game tools that let you bend, twist, and stretch different sections into whatever insane concoction you like.
Once your rollercoaster is complete you'll be able to ride it to test it out. Then comes the destruction - you'll be firing your brave rollercoaster testers at buildings, hitting weak points if you're accurate, and eventually causing them to crumble. Neumann said that 'there's a level of destruction in this game that's unprecedented.'
Check out the trailer below where you'll get a look at the game in action, along with the creation tools which look pretty extensive.
Screamride is due for release on Xbox One and Xbox 360 in spring 2015.
