New Gabriel Knight video talks inspiration for other game devs

Gabriel Knight Original Screen 1

A new video for the upcoming Gabriel Knight remastering hears from its creator and other devs as they talk about how it was created and subsequently inspired them.

Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers 20th Anniversary Edition is a remake of the classic point-and-click adventure from 1993. It's a full remastering of the game, and in a new video we hear from other game developers that were inspired by the title.

First off we hear from game's designer, Jane Jensen, about the original Gabriel Knight title and how it differed from previous adventure games in that genre.

Comparative footage of the original vs the new version is shown whilst Jensen and others including Agustín Cordes (Scratches), Ragnar Tornquist (Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey), and Charles Cecil (Broken Sword) talk of the game.

Take a look at the video below, and get ready for those nostalgic feels.

Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers 20th Anniversary Edition is due for release on 15th October 2014 for PC, Mac, and will eventually be available on the iPad.
