QPR academy coach reflects on the toughest game his side have faced this campaign.
QPR's under-21 manager Steve Gallen has been speaking about his side's narrow win away to Leeds on Monday.
The Hoops edged a 2-1 win, through goals from Reece Grego-Cox and Frankie Sutherland.
It was the combination of Leeds summer signing Adryan and Brian Montenegro who combined to score the home side's consolation and set up a grand stand finish.
Gallen told QPR's website: "Leeds were strong, bright, quick and it was a very competitive game, the best one we’ve had this season.
“They had more possession than us so they’ll almost feel like they possibly deserved something out of the game. But we got the goals at the right times."
It was Montenegro's second goal for Leeds in three games, emphasising his claims for a first team chance over the upcoming fixtures.
QPR top their table with 14 points from a possible 18 this season.
