Chelsea morning news: Hazard's daunting message, Costa to start in Portugal?

Stamford Bridge Inside

A round up of news stories about Chelsea this morning.

Eden Hazard has warned Chelsea’s European rivals that the club is looking to win the Champions League.

The Blues got off to a shaky start in their first group game with a 1-1 draw against FC Schalke.

“Personally and collectively it is to go as far as we can, which is to win it - Personally and collectively it is to go as far as we can, which is to win it,” said Hazard.

Diego Costa has trained with Chelsea ahead of the game against Sporting Lisbon.

The Spanish international is suffering with a hamstring problem, which Jose Mourinho has revealed means he can only play once per week.

However, several reports have suggested that Mourinho will gamble with Costa in this game.

The Daily Star has linked Chelsea with a move for Brazilian midfielder Anderson Talisca.

The 20-year-old is one of the most highly rated players at Portuguese club Benfica.

“I think Benfica hired well. They say Talisca is unknown, but he is only so unknown because he's only not playing in England because he doesn't have a work permit. If he had one, he would be here!” said Mourinho.
