Arsene Wenger Pre FA Cup Press Conference 2

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger gave updates on player fitness ahead of the game against Galatasaray in the Champions League.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Jack Wilshere is part of the squad to face Galatasaray, but Aaron Ramsey, Mikel Arteta and Abou Diaby are all unavailable.

The boss also provided great news with regards to Theo Walcott, who will returning to training along with Serge Gnabry imminently.

"Walcott and Gnabry will be joining in training next week."

Wenger also commented on a new contract for Olivier Giroud, with the French striker having extended his deal for another two years.

"It is done. We will complete it."

Wenger has also set his side a target for when they play in North London ahead of the match tomorrow night.

"We are maybe more under pressure to win the game than if we had won the first, but we want to win our home games."

"We haven't had much time to work on set-pieces but we know we want to do more with our set-pieces."

On the subject of his longevity at Arsenal, the Frenchman has described it as a privilege to have been in charge of the club for close to 20 years.

"It's a great privilege to be the manager of this club for 18 years."

Wenger has also complimented the experience of Mathieu Flamini ahead of the game tomorrow, with the Frenchman likely to be the man in front of the back four as well as praising the way Danny Welbeck has settled into the team.

"His experience is vital to us. I took the opportunity to re-sign him and I'm pleased I did."

"If we play well collectively then he (Welbeck) will score. He's integrated very well into our team."
