A round up of news stories this morning about Tottenham Hotspur.

Mauricio Pochettino has piled praise onto Younes Kaboul for his performance in the North London derby.

The Spurs captain was a key player for the team as they managed to grab a point after a Nacer Chadli goal.

“When we decided to make him captain, it is because we feel there is something special about him. He is a very good guy, a big character. But it is important to feel that you have a captain whose qualities you believe in,” said the Argentine.

The boss has also talked positively about goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.

The Frenchman made a number of key saves against Arsenal included a remarkable one where he kept the ball under control on the goal line.

“I think he is one of the best goalkeepers in the world, not just the Premier League. He is unbelievable,” said Pochettino.

Ryan Mason says he’s looking to move forward, praising Mauricio Pochettino after making his Premier League debut in the North London derby.

Mason was part of the Spurs team that battled for a 1-1 draw at the Emirates over the weekend.

“I played for the reserves on Monday, then against Nottingham Forest in the Capital One Cup on Wednesday and here - He's the type of gaffer that if you're training well and playing well then you'll get a chance to play,” said Mason.
