Predicted Manchester City XI to play Roma - Demichelis to replace Mangala?

Man City Etihad

The potential Manchester City side to play Roma in the Champions League.

Joe Hart could return to the Manchester City line-up for the game against Roma this week as the Premier League champions look to get their European challenge back on track.

City head into the game with a little momentum after beating Hull, which is important as they’re already chasing the lead in their group.

Hull’s two goals in the 4-2 win for City came as the result of mistakes from summer signing Eliaquim Mangala, which could see Martin Demichelis come back into the defence.

They were unlucky not to take anything from their opening Champions League game against Bayern Munich, with the German giants snatching a 1-0 win thanks to a late goal from ex-City defender Jerome Boateng.

Pellegrini could opt to change the setup of his side to the eleven that started the game against Hull, but City have the home advantage and the emphasis will be on them to attack and get into an early lead against the Serie A team.

Here’s the team that Pellegrini could go with for the game;

Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Demichelis, Clichy, Milner, Toure, Fernandinho, Silva, Dzeko, Aguero.
