Adnan Januzaj staked his claim for a place in the first-team with an impressive performance which culminated in a wonderfully taken free-kick.
Adnan Januzaj was one of the few positives from a dour season last time round for Manchester United, and this season he has been given the number 11 shirt after the retirement of Ryan Giggs.
Big shoes to fill, but Januzaj's development has been halted due to the arrival of players such as Angel Di Maria, Falcao and Juan Mata in 2014. He was given an opportunity to impress in Monday nights Under-21 match against Tottenham Hotspur and didn't disappoint.
He caused the Spurs' defence endless problems all night and with just minutes left on the clock he scored the opening goal of the game. Saidy Janko won a free-kick wide on the right hand side, and up stepped Januzaj to curl it in from a very tight angle.

The Belgian international floated in the ball effortlessly, and despite the goal coming in the 87th minute of the game, there was still time for two more. Nathan Oduwa immediately cancelled it out, before Januzaj turned provider as his corner was met by Tom Thorpe to win the match.
