Hull City player Harry Maguire will reportedly be allowed to leave the KC Stadium on loan, but not to his former club Sheffield United.

The Mirror reports that the £2.5million summer signing is attracting interest from Middlesbrough and Wigan Athletic.

“I don’t think there is any benefit in letting him go back to Bramall Lane,” the Hull boss is quoted as saying.

“He is only a young boy, the future is very bright for him, he is just going to have to be a little bit patient.”

In other news, the Mirror has published comments from Abel Hernandez’s former club president Maurizio Zamparini.

The Palermo supremo told Radio Radio that the striker will not achieve his ambitions at Hull.

“At Hull City, the only difference is he will earn more money,” Zamparini is quoted as saying.

“He’ll never achieve the objectives he was aiming for. I will follow his progress in the Premier League and I am certain he will do well. His career at Palermo had finished anyway.”

The £10million signing has impressed in his early games at the Tigers, scoring two goals in his first three appearances.
