Forza Horizon 2 and Shadow of Mordor launch on Xbox this week

We list the upcoming Xbox 360 and Xbox One games that are due for release this week.

Last week's biggest release was EA Sports' FIFA 15, which now sits at number one in the UK Xbox One top ten charts.

This week we see another couple of big releases with Monolith's Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor, and Playground Games' Forza Horizon 2. We'll be bringing you reviews of both games, so keep an eye out for them in the coming weeks.

The Xbox 360 also receives Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax this week.

This is the final week for releases in September as we move into the month of October on Wednesday. October holds upcoming titles such as Alien: Isolation, The Evil Within, and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, so keep a look out on Wednesday when we'll bring you the full line-up of October's games for Microsoft's consoles.
