Chelsea star Eden Hazard has revealed the side he'd join in Ligue One.

Chelsea star Eden Hazard has revealed the only scenario where he’d move back to Ligue One.

The Belgian superstar has been constantly linked with a move to French champions Paris Saint-Germain but says the only side he’d join in France is the team he left for Chelsea; Lille.

“Move back to Ligue 1? Maybe one day. But only for Lille. Ligue 1 is a great league in Europe but not the best. It's a league for youngsters,” said Hazard.

The news will come as a boost to Blues fans everyone and the club can be confident that he’ll sign a new deal when it’s presented to him.

Reports suggest that Hazard will sign a new deal in October, potentially during the next international break, which would allow his representatives to review the terms of any proposed deal under less time restraints.

The Blues are set to reward their No 10 for his fine form last season with a new five-year contract worth £200,000-per-week and expect him to put pen to paper next month,” reports the Mail.

Hazard has been one of Chelsea’s most consistent and effective attacking players over the last two seasons and it’s no coincidence that rumours over his future have started as his form has reached new heights.

He’s an icon out on the left hand side of Chelsea’s midfield but he’s well suited to drifting into central positions and being effective in different roles across the frontline.

His start to this season hasn’t been as impressive as some of his form in the last campaign but he’s still a magical player, capable of turning a game in a split second and he will have his say this season.

Hopefully when he signs the new deal, the speculation will stop but he clearly harbours fond memories of his time at Lille and end up back there at a much later stage in his career.
