Hacker Group May Have Been Behind Disrupted Gaming Over The Weekend.

Gaming was heavily disrupted this weekend after it was claimed that hacker group Lizard Squad attacked Activision servers for two of its popular games. Destiny and Call Of Duty.

Hackers use what is known as a distributed denial-of-service (DDoS). Which works by bombarding a system with a huge number of requests which cause the Servers to crash.

Although the group have not officially claimed responsibility, its Twitter account had stated  " We're predicting a lot of mad gamers this weekend".

Bungie had issued a statement via their Twitter page after The North American Servers for both games had become increasingly affected.
