West Ham under-21s: Spiegel, Knoyle, Page, Nolan, Oxford, Burke, Jarvis, Bywater, Lee, Whitehead, Vaz Te
Sunderland under-21s: Dixon, Cartwright, Robson, Oliver, McNamee, Ferguson, Watmore, Agnew, Smith, Lawson, Greenwood
West Ham’s under-21 side need a win to help them move up the table and away from trouble in division one of the under-21 Premier League.
The problem for the young Hammers has been conceding goals as only Leicester City have conceded more goals in the competition so far this season.
The young Hammers could only manage a draw away at Fulham in their last game and a win pushes them up towards mid-table.
The problem for Sunderland’s under-21 side has been inconsistency; one win, one draw and two defeats from all games played so far.
They also conceded four of their seven goals this season in the same match against Manchester United so expect them to tighten up for this game.
A win for Sunderland moves them onto the same number of points as Liverpool and Manchester United, if the latter loses away at Tottenham Hotspur.
