Juventus have hit the ground running under new boss Massimiliano Allegri and evergreen goalkeeper Gigi Buffon has been at his magnificent best.
The Old Lady are looking to maintain their iron grip on Italian football but they face a serious title challenge from Roma.
So far despite changing boss Antonio Conte for Allegri, Juventus haven't wobbled remotely, not even conceding a goal.
The Italian international 'keeper has matched his record from the 1998-99 season with Parma when he went 450 minutes without conceding at the start of the season.
The achievement is even more impressive given that Buffon has been called upon to make some stunning saves during the run, especially from Maxi Lopez in the opening day 1-0 over Chievo and in denying Keisuke Honda of AC Milan
The run has even extended to the Champions League and a 2-0 win over Malmo during which Buffon was in fine form to keep the score at 0-0 early on.
The record will come under fire when Buffon travels to Atletico Madrid followed by a home clash with Roma. If he remains unbeaten after those tests then he is on track for something truly extraordinary.
