Arsenal morning news: Ox gunning for Chelsea, Wenger confident of upturn

A round up of news stories this morning about Arsenal.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain says the side have a point to prove against Chelsea this weekend.

The Ox scored as the Gunners could only manage a point in the North London derby.

“We do understand what happened there last season. Maybe we have got a point to prove there, we know this year we have got to step up in the big games and get some results in them,” said the midfielder.

Arsene Wenger is confident that Arsenal can start producing more positive results.

Arsenal haven’t lost a match in the Premier League this season but have won only two games so far.

“The positive is that we are unbeaten, but the negative is that we have missed four points from the quality of the games we have played. We have to keep that unbeaten record and I think at some stage we will win,” said the boss.

Arsenal are reportedly interested in a potential swoop for Dinamo Zagreb star Marcelo Brozovic.

The Mirror reported over the weekend that the Gunners had sent two scouts to watch the Croatian play.

They attended Dinamo’s derby game against Hadjuk Split three weeks ago.
