Sunderland and Swansea drew 0-0 this weekend, and here is the story of the match in pictures.
Sunderland and Swansea City played out a 0-0 draw at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.
The result means the Black Cats are still waiting for their first league win of the season, although the fact that Gus Poyet’s side are proving very hard to beat is a plus point for those fans who witnessed a poor showing from both sides.
The two teams had just four shots on target between them, with Sunderland managing three to Swansea’s one.
But Poyet will know his side has to start turning one point into three if they do not want to slip into relegation troubles in the months ahead.
The only real incident of note was the dismissal of Swansea defender Angel Rangel with 10 minutes remaining.
The full-back saw red for a second bookable offence but that moment aside, this one was not worth writing home about.
