Southampton are flying this season, beating QPR 2-1 yesterday.

Southampton's sensational start to the season continued yesterday after a 2-1 victory against QPR at St Marys Stadium.

This summer saw The Saints lose an abundance of players in the transfer market, whilst their manager also departed for Tottenham Hotspur.

But they have brought in excellent replacements to the club two of whom scored in yesterday's victory, which also contained two special goals.

So here are some of the best images from Southampton's 2-1 win over QPR, as they continue their early season momentum...

Southampton gave Sadio Made a first Premier League start and the Senegal international did not fail to impress. He set up the opening goal of the game with a delightful back-heeled through ball. Ryan Bertrand got on the end of it and smashed the ball home.

Dusan Tadic, a £10.9 million arrival from FC Twente this summer, was again in fantastic form for his new club. He was unlucky not to score on a couple of occasions, as he awaits his first goal for the club.

Southampton were however pegged back in the second half by a tremendous strike. Charlie Austin took control of Eduardo Vargas' cross in excellent style before swivelling and smashing home a volley beyond Fraser Forster.

Anything he can do, I can do better! Italian international Graziano Pelle scored a sublime overhead volley just minutes later to give Southampton the win - despite Niko Kranjcar hitting the bat late on.
