Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney has been singing the praises of new manager Louis van Gaal.
The Dutchman was appointed the Red Devils boss in May and is expected to leave a lasting legacy at the club.
Van Gaal, though, has not started his United managerial career on a great note, but Rooney has no doubt that he will be successful at Old Trafford.
The England international has given a glimpse into how Van Gaal works with the players, and has revealed that the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich coach actually records training sessions.
‘He’s incredible, how he sees the game and how he goes into so much detail’, the 28-year-old told The Times. ‘How he makes you feel when you’re playing.
‘He puts such confidence into you but if you’re not playing well he lets you know too. Every training session is recorded and when we watch them back it’s incredible what you can learn’.
Van Gaal’s attention to detail is truly incredible, and that is one of the attributes which makes him one of the best managers in the world.
United have made a rather indifferent start to the 2014-15 Premier League season, but there is every reason to believe that results will improve with Van Gaal in charge.
