Everton travelled to Liverpool today for the first Merseyside Derby of the season and what an explosive end to the game it ended up being.
Neither team truly got into fifth gear during the 90 minutes but it seemed as though Liverpool had done enough when Steven Gerrard netted a sublime free-kick in the second half.
However Liverpool did not count on a piece of magic from Phil Jagielka. The Everton captain channelled his former Sheffield United midfield days to smash in a 30-yard volley beyond Simon Mignolet in the last minute.
Everton nearly stole it with a late Gareth Barry chance, but they would have been happy to get back with one point across Stanley Park.
And they had an old friend supporting them from Twitter.
Gerard Deulofeu enjoyed a successful spell on loan at Goodison Park last term. He returned to Barcelona in the summer as the Catalan club were not pleased with how he was used by Everton during his time in England.
This season he is on loan at Sevilla, and recently scored his first goal for his new club, as Sevilla fly high in La Liga.
But this afternoon he was backing the Everton boys to get one over on their Merseyside rivals...
