Darko Milanic takes charge of his first game as Leeds United manager today as his side travel to London to face Brentford.
The Slovenian finally made the move from Austrian side Sturm Graz to Elland Road this week as owner Massimo Cellino made the 46-year-old the replacement for Dave Hockaday. After three wins in the last four games under caretaker boss Neil Redfearn, Milanic will be under pressure to continue the good run of form.
Milanic's first team selection sees youth team graduates Sam Byram and Alex Mowatt return to the side, but his bench is lacking the likes of Adryan and Bill Sharp, with Steve Morison, Casper Sloth and Luke Murphy taking their places on the substitutes bench.
They take on a Brentford side who have had a decent start to the season after coming second in League One last season, and Mark Warburton's side lie in 14th place with 11 points from eight games. Wins over Rotherham and Brighton had boosted spirits around Griffin Park, but 3-0 and 4-0 defeats to Norwich City and Middlesbrough in the last seven days mean Leeds could take advantage of some defensive worries for the Bees.
