Chelsea got back to winning ways in the Premier League this weekend as they dispatched Aston Villa with relative ease at Stamford Bridge.
It certainly did not take The Blues long to get going. It was a goal made in Brazil after seven minutes. Willian drove through and his strike was well saved by Brad Guzan. However the rebound fell kindly for Oscar, who happily put Chelsea 1-0 up.
Chelsea continued to add pressure but it was not until the second half when, you guessed it, that man Diego Costa bagged yet another goal.
This time it was a Spaniard who set him up, but not Cesc Fabregas. Cesar Azpilicueta swung in a cross which was beautifully met on the head by the Spanish international.
And the tie was wrapped up with ten minutes to go. Willian, who had an excellent game, capitalised on some penalty area pinball after Costa had a strike saved before tapping in Chelsea's third to remain top of the table.
